Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Seth, with nick name of "Sancho". I was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana and went to college at IU Bloomington. I am a freelance translator and marathon runner that lives bilingually in Mexico City. I love Mexican culture and my life goal is to live "binationally" here and in Texas, when the time comes and allows. I speak Spanish (80%) and English fluently, and understand Portuguese language (reading level) pretty well. I am a big sports fan (Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Basketball, UNAM Pumas Mexican Soccer Club). I have been have a runner since 5th grade and ran and finished my first marathon at age 19 with a time of 3:19. I run marathons in both the US and Mexico (hopefully more in Latin America and Europe in the near future). My current PR is 2:59, aka Sub 3-hour Club! My goal is to be become an elite marathon runner. I proudly represent the team RUN&RUN based in Mexico City. Besides running, I am also a believer in Jesus Christ (my Lord and Savior) and am minimally active in ministry. I am very family-oriented and come from a very a large, crazy and loving family, with deep country roots. I also have some extended family members that are multicultural and bi-/trilingual. I miss my family in the States a lot, but I have wonderful "adopted" family here in Mexico and don't regret living it up in Mexico. I am a superfood nut and believe in organic food (not a vegetarian, lol) and passionate in educating and assisting others with regards to eating with care for healthy life. I try to help those, especially in my immediate community, creating solid foundations of friendship and trust among them. One drawback I struggle with is a partial hearing loss (about 10%, since childhood), but only in Spanish do have to listen harder (depending on how fast the Spanish-speaker talks) and read lips. In English, I rarely every have to ask to repeat.
