I'm a retired Military officer, turned Project Manager, and now self-employed. I've had a successful career and now in search of a life-long partner to share the remainder of my life with. I'm sincerely hoping to find "My FOREVER". I'm educated, intelligent, fit & athletic, financially secure & of sound judgement. I lead a simple yet balanced lifestyle & was raised with traditional values. I enjoy experiencing different cultures, am well-traveled & I have lived in 3 different countries. I am able to engage on a wide range of topics and subject areas and stay aware of what is going on in the world. I very much appreciate the outdoors and enjoy the occasional adventure. I am a VERY RESPONSIBLE, accountable, decent, and law-abiding citizen sacrificed early on in life and worked very hard to get where I am today. I am considerate and have compassion for others, but I am NOT weak. I have never been married (but I have been close), and I have no children...You will find that I am RESPECTFUL, but I also believe in MUTUAL RESPECT. I stay in good physical shape by being active and by maintaining a gym schedule (4 days/week). I run/ride outdoors in the warmer months and love to ski (even though I'm not the best) in the Winter - I generally go on two ski trips each year. I have lived by myself since my mid-20's & I am fully capable of taking care of myself - cook/clean/household chores etc. I do not need a caretaker, but I am willing to share in all household duties. Unfortunately, I ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH (a bit of Spanish) so if you are unable to speak English, developing a relationship would be extremely difficult. Bottom Line: My purpose here is SINCERE! I lead a pretty good life, but I KNOW "something" is missing...That "Special ONE" to share life with...And I am sincerely hoping to meet her here!! Note: Age IS IMPORTANT to me. Relating to/communicating with someone less than 32-33 would be a monumental challenge for me due to the differences in our life experiences so I probably will NOT respond (sorry) to anyone in their 20s!

Yes ma'am - I'm a Texan - a gentleman in the classic sense of the word. Friendly, funny, approachable, calm, gracious (I hope) and happy---a nice guy. I open doors, pull out chairs (and push them back in, of course) and respect you and your family and friends. I don't fuss and fight - wasted time - wasted life. I am very low maintenance and my bravado tank stays mostly empty. I throw all of my cards on the table from the offset and let them land where they may. For me now it's Life over Lifestyle - Substance over Form. I love being the dad of 3 wonderful grown children. I am very active, however need a bit of calm and quiet time occasionally. I am very much a beach/water person. Love the mountains, too, however, the beach ever calls. I love U2, Pavarotti, James Taylor and everything in between - and I've recently discovered I love The Doors. I'm a walker/hiker and book a lot of miles - mostly when my quiet time comes---very early in the morning and started cycling (6.09.18) early in the morning and love it - starting at 10 miles a day and I love knowing I will only love it more as my skills and cycling muscles improve. At this age we are all dinged up a bit - all part of being happy and joyful, kind and peaceful, gracious and thankful. My personal mantra is "Walk in The Light and Share The Joy". I think people can see God in us, even when we don't speak of it. We can affirm Him through our behavior towards others. Joy, Kindness and Hope can go a very long way. I recently read where Mother Teresa said "Be the window thru which others see God". I sure hope that's me. :-) ā€
